hiding under the sofa or love seat would allow her to nap in private & yet be close- I'd be right above reading or watching T.V. ; yet when she's awake she's able to attack my feet until I kneel down to play the game - she strikes out at me then I at her--- all in great fun as I learn to obey her wishes which she makes quite clear and her commands are generally easy to follow-- she rewards me by sleeping close not quite a cuddle but close
